BRP’s business is built around design, engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and aftermarket support for performance-focused vehicles. In addition to finished products, the company sells parts, accessories, riding gear, and branded apparel, giving it exposure to recurring demand from customers who maintain, customize, and upgrade their vehicles. This aftermarket offering is an important part of its relationship with riders and dealers, particularly in categories where usage can be seasonal or terrain-specific.

The company reaches customers through a large independent dealer and distributor network spanning roughly 110 countries. Its sales base is geographically broad, although demand is closely tied to consumer discretionary spending, dealer inventory levels, credit conditions, and weather patterns in snowmobile and watercraft markets.

BRP has also adjusted its marine strategy. After forming a marine group in 2018 and ending the Evinrude outboard engine business in 2020, it has moved to divest much of that operation. Manitou was sold in the third quarter of fiscal 2026, while Telwater remains up for sale. The result is a company more focused on its core powersports franchises and the brands that define its global identity.
