Senti’s approach is designed to make cell therapies more selective and adaptable. Rather than relying on a single target, its gene circuits can be configured to sense multiple signals, process those inputs, and trigger a therapeutic response only under defined conditions. The company’s lead program, SENTI-202, is an off-the-shelf CAR-NK cell therapy candidate being developed for hematological malignancies. It uses a logic-gated design intended to target cancer cells while sparing healthy cells, and is being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial in the United States and Australia for relapsed or refractory blood cancers, including acute myeloid leukemia. CAR-NK therapies are part of a broader effort to develop scalable immune-cell treatments that may be easier to manufacture and administer than patient-specific cell therapies.
