Haduvio is being studied for chronic cough in adults with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, known as IPF, as well as non-IPF interstitial lung disease and refractory chronic cough. IPF and other interstitial lung diseases are serious lung disorders that can cause progressive scarring, breathlessness, and persistent coughing. Refractory chronic cough refers to a long-lasting cough that remains difficult to control despite evaluation and treatment of common underlying causes.

Nalbuphine has activity at opioid receptors, and Haduvio is designed as an extended-release oral therapy. Trevi is investigating whether this pharmacology can reduce cough frequency and severity in patient groups with high unmet medical need. Because Haduvio remains investigational, it has not been approved for commercialization for these indications, and the company’s value is closely tied to clinical trial results, regulatory progress, and future development decisions.

Trevi manages its operations as a single reportable business segment focused on developing and potentially commercializing Haduvio.
