The brand family includes widely recognized names such as Ramada, Days Inn and Super 8, which together represent a significant share of Wyndham’s global room base. Ramada is the largest brand at roughly 14% of rooms, followed by Days Inn at about 13% and Super 8 at around 10% as of the end of 2025. The United States remains the company’s largest market, representing 58% of total rooms in 2025, but Wyndham also has a broad international footprint.

Wyndham focuses on travelers seeking affordable, convenient accommodation, including roadside, leisure and business customers. Its scale supports brand awareness, loyalty-program participation and distribution through direct booking channels and third-party travel platforms. The 2018 acquisition of La Quinta added around 90,000 rooms when the deal closed and strengthened the company’s position in upper-midscale lodging.

In recent years, Wyndham has added brands aimed at changing travel patterns, including extended-stay and lifestyle concepts. ECHO, launched in 2022, targets the economy extended-stay segment, where demand is supported by longer work assignments, relocation needs and cost-conscious travel. The company’s performance is tied to franchise growth, occupancy trends, room rates and the health of travel demand across its key markets.
