Buy XRP spot

XRP reclaimed $1.10 and is at ~$1.12 with improving US spot XRP ETF flows (net inflows returning) plus strengthening derivatives participation. Buy spot to ride the momentum toward the 50-day EMA (~$1.15), then $1.24 and $1.45 if it clears. Thesis: ETF inflows + improving momentum outweigh near-term spot selling, and the market is re-risking into XRP.

Key Risk: A daily close below $1.06 that flips momentum and forces ETF inflows to stall while sellers take control.

Sell XRP perpetuals (short)

If you can trade perps, fade the leverage build: the article notes OI has declined 6% in 24 hours, even while price is rising—often a sign the move is getting crowded and fragile. Sell XRP perpetuals to profit from a pullback/mean reversion back toward $1.06–$1.10 after the breakout attempt, especially while XRP is still under the 50-day EMA (~$1.15). Thesis: the rally is not yet supported by sustained spot demand; leverage positioning is unstable.

Key Risk: XRP decisively breaks and holds above ~$1.15 (50-day EMA), triggering fresh long leverage and squeezing the short.

  • XRP has switched bullish after breaking above the $1.10 resistance level.
  • Futures OI continues to rise, signaling growing retail participation in XRP.
  • An extended rally could see XRP surge past the 50-day EMA at $1.15.

Ripple's XRP is currently in the green following days of consolidating price action.

The coin has surged past the $1.1 resistance level thanks to rising derivatives activity and US spot XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) inflows.

The technical indicators suggest buyers have the upper hand, with the bulls targeting key resistance levels in the near term.

XRP futures activity and ETF inflows show improving investor interest

Demand in XRP's derivatives market has gradually strengthened over the past week.

Data from CoinGlass shows perpetual futures Open Interest (OI) has declined by 6% in the last 24 hours and now reads $2.43 billion.

Despite the recent decline, the trend has been building steadily, with average Open Interest standing at $2.11 billion since July 7, reflecting growing participation from traders willing to take on additional market exposure.

Institutional sentiment also improved modestly as US spot XRP ETFs returned to positive territory.

According to CoinGlass’s ETF page, the funds attracted nearly $2.5 million in inflows on Monday.

The funds are building on the $7 million in net inflows last week, reversing approximately $7 million in net outflows recorded during the previous week.

The latest inflows pushed cumulative net investments in US-listed XRP ETFs to $1.49 billion, while total net assets remained close to $991 million.

Although the return of positive flows is encouraging, sustained institutional demand will likely be required to offset selling pressure in the spot market and support a stronger price recovery.

Analysts believe that the broader macroeconomic backdrop continues to present mixed signals for risk assets.

However, the easing US inflation has reduced concerns about an extended period of restrictive monetary policy, a development that generally benefits liquidity-sensitive assets such as cryptocurrencies.

XRP price outlook: Key moving averages continue to cap upside

XRP is currently trading at $1.12, up by nearly 3% in the last 24 hours, reclaiming a bullish outlook in the near term.

However, XRP continues to trade below the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) near $1.15, the 100-day EMA around $1.24, and the 200-day EMA close to $1.45.

Together, these moving averages form a significant overhead resistance zone that bulls have yet to overcome.

Momentum indicators paint a bullish picture. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) histogram remains slightly positive, suggesting underlying buying interest is slowly growing.

Furthermore, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) sits above 50, indicating growing buying momentum in the near term.

If the bullish trend persists, XRP must first clear resistance at the 50-day EMA near $1.15, followed by additional barriers at $1.24 and $1.45.

A decisive break above these levels would strengthen the bullish outlook.

XRP/USD 4H Chart

However, if the sellers regain control of the market, immediate support is provided by the recent weekly low of $1.06.

A daily close below this level could accelerate selling pressure and expose XRP to deeper losses, while holding above it may allow the token to consolidate before making another attempt to challenge its key moving average resistance levels.
