Shentu (CTK)
Shentu (CTK) is a security-focused blockchain project designed to help decentralized applications operate with stronger risk controls. Formerly associated with the CertiK Chain brand, Shentu is built around the idea that smart contract platforms need native tools for auditing, monitoring, scoring, and insurance-style protection rather than relying only on off-chain security reviews.
The network supports cross-chain use cases and provides infrastructure intended for developers, users, and protocols that want clearer information about blockchain risk. Its security scoring and monitoring tools are designed to evaluate projects, contracts, and ecosystem behavior, giving market participants additional signals before they interact with a dApp or digital asset. Shentu also includes decentralized reimbursement mechanisms, commonly associated with ShentuShield, which allow participants to create and access pools that may compensate users after qualifying security incidents.
CTK is the native asset of the Shentu ecosystem. It is used for network fees, staking, governance participation, and economic incentives around security services. Validators and delegators help secure the chain, while CTK can also play a role in collateralizing reimbursement pools and supporting security-related products.
Shentu’s distinguishing feature is its narrow focus on blockchain safety. Rather than positioning itself simply as another general-purpose smart contract network, it aims to provide infrastructure for trust, verification, and risk mitigation across decentralized finance and other Web3 applications.
