DMT-NAT (NAT)

The project describes NAT as having launched through a fair mint, without pre-mined supply or allocations reserved for insiders. That distribution model is intended to reflect Bitcoin’s emphasis on open participation and decentralisation. NAT’s design also ties into the role of miners, who are able to earn the token alongside standard Bitcoin block rewards. In that sense, it is positioned as a supplementary incentive layer for the mining economy.

The long-term issue NAT seeks to address is Bitcoin’s security budget. Bitcoin miners are compensated through newly issued BTC and transaction fees, but the block subsidy declines over time through halving events. Many market participants debate how fees and other incentives might support miner participation far into the future. NAT approaches that discussion by embedding an additional form of value creation around Bitcoin block data and miner activity.

As a Bitcoin-native token, NAT is part of a broader wave of experimentation around assets, inscriptions, and metadata linked to the Bitcoin blockchain.
