QuarkChain (QKC)

The network uses a two-layer model. Individual shard chains process transactions in the first layer, while a root chain provides final confirmation and security across the wider system. This structure is intended to support cross-shard transfers while preserving a unified user experience, so participants do not need separate accounts for every shard. QuarkChain also promotes a cluster-based node approach, allowing groups of lower-cost nodes to perform the role that an expensive super-full node would play on a high-performance blockchain.

QKC is the native asset associated with the QuarkChain ecosystem. It is used within the network economy and represents exposure to a project focused on blockchain scalability, decentralised application infrastructure, and interoperability across shards. The project’s broader thesis is that no single scaling path will satisfy every blockchain use case, and that flexible architectures can help networks adapt as demand changes.
