Clarus Corporation is a branded outdoor and adventure products company whose portfolio is built around specialist equipment for technical recreation and vehicle-based exploration. The company is best known for Black Diamond, a major name in climbing, mountaineering, backcountry skiing, trekking, and related outdoor apparel and hardware. Through PIEPS, Clarus also participates in snow-safety equipment, including avalanche beacons and associated rescue products used by skiers and mountaineers.
The company’s Adventure segment extends Clarus beyond human-powered sports into overlanding and automotive accessories.
