INmune Bio Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing therapies that target immune dysfunction and inflammation. The company’s work is based on the view that abnormal immune responses can drive or worsen a range of diseases, including neurodegenerative conditions, cancer-related immune suppression, and complications linked to inflammatory signalling.
Its pipeline is organised around several technology platforms. The DN-TNF platform is designed to selectively inhibit soluble tumour necrosis factor, a form of TNF associated with inflammatory disease processes, while aiming to preserve aspects of immune function linked to transmembrane TNF. XPro, also known as XPro1595, is the company’s lead programme from this platform and is being evaluated for diseases in which inflammation may contribute to progression, including neurodegenerative disorders.
INmune Bio is also developing INKmune through its Natural Killer Cell Priming Platform. This programme is intended to train or activate a patient’s natural killer cells so they may better recognise and attack cancer cells. In addition, the company has described CORDStrom as a platform involving stromal cells derived from umbilical cord tissue, with potential applications in immune and inflammatory conditions.
The company does not operate like a commercial pharmaceutical manufacturer with a broad marketed portfolio. Instead, its value is closely tied to clinical trial execution, regulatory progress, intellectual property, and the scientific validity of its immune-modulation approach. INmune Bio stands out for focusing on the intersection of innate immunity, inflammation, and disease biology, rather than pursuing a single therapeutic area or conventional small-molecule strategy.
