Las Vegas Sands Corp. is a global developer and operator of large-scale integrated resorts, with its business concentrated in Asia. The company’s properties combine casino gaming with luxury hotels, restaurants, retail malls, entertainment venues, convention space, and meeting facilities. This integrated resort model is designed to attract both leisure tourists and business travelers, while generating revenue across gaming and non-gaming categories.
The company’s main operating base is Macao, the world’s largest casino market by gaming revenue. Through Sands China, it owns and operates major Cotai Strip and peninsula properties including The Venetian Macao, The Londoner Macao, The Parisian Macao, Four Seasons Hotel Macao, and Sands Macao. These resorts position the company to benefit from mass-market gaming, premium leisure demand, shopping, dining, and convention activity in the region.
Las Vegas Sands also owns Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, one of the most recognizable integrated resorts in Asia. The property combines a casino, hotel towers, luxury retail, restaurants, entertainment, and the Sands Expo and Convention Centre. The company has plans for further expansion in Singapore, including an additional tower expected to open in the next decade, subject to project timing and regulatory conditions.
After selling The Venetian Resort Las Vegas and Palazzo assets in 2022, Las Vegas Sands no longer operates casinos in its namesake city. Its earnings are therefore driven by Asian tourism, gaming regulation, travel patterns, and consumer spending in Macao and Singapore. The company’s distinguishing feature is its concentration in high-end, destination-scale resorts in markets with limited gaming licenses and substantial barriers to entry.
