ATI (ATI)
NYSE Market Closed
ATI Inc. is a specialty materials producer that supplies high-performance metals, alloys, components and related solutions to demanding industrial markets. Its products are used where strength, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, fatigue performance or precision are critical, making the company an important supplier to aerospace and defence, energy, medical, automotive and electrical applications.
The business is organised mainly around High-Performance Materials and Components, and Advanced Alloys and Solutions. The High-Performance Materials and Components segment generates the largest share of revenue and focuses on premium materials and engineered products for markets such as jet engines, airframes, defence systems, medical devices and energy equipment. ATI’s capabilities include titanium and titanium alloys, nickel-based alloys, specialty steels, zirconium and other advanced materials.
Its Advanced Alloys and Solutions operations support customers that need flat-rolled products, specialty alloys and materials suited for harsh operating environments. ATI’s products can be found in applications ranging from commercial aircraft engines and defence platforms to oil and gas systems, industrial equipment and power-related infrastructure.
The company has a broad international footprint, with operations and sales across the United States, Europe, China, Canada and other markets, although the United States is its largest revenue source. ATI’s position is tied closely to long-cycle demand in aerospace and defence, as well as broader industrial investment in materials that can perform under extreme conditions. Its focus on technically demanding metals gives it exposure to markets where qualification standards, manufacturing expertise and customer relationships are significant competitive factors.
