Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. is an energy equipment manufacturer and supplier serving oil and natural gas operators, oilfield service companies, industrial customers, and selected renewable-energy markets. The company designs, manufactures, and supports products used across drilling, well construction, completions, production, intervention, and subsea operations. Its portfolio includes both capital equipment and consumable products, giving it exposure to long-cycle project spending as well as recurring demand from active wells.
Forum reports its business through two main segments: Drilling and Completions, and Artificial Lift and Downhole. Drilling and Completions is the larger revenue contributor and includes equipment and components used in drilling rigs, hydraulic fracturing, cementing, coiled tubing, pressure pumping, and subsea applications. The company’s subsea offering includes remotely operated vehicle systems, trenching equipment, and specialized systems for demanding offshore environments, including submarine rescue-related equipment.
The Artificial Lift and Downhole segment provides products that help operators improve well performance and extend production from oil and gas reservoirs. These can include downhole tools, completion products, and lift technologies used after a well has been drilled and brought into service. Demand is influenced by exploration and production budgets, rig counts, well completions, and the economics of maintaining mature assets.
Forum generates its largest share of revenue in the United States, with additional business across Canada, the Middle East, Europe and Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. Its results are closely linked to energy industry capital spending and commodity price cycles. The company’s differentiated position comes from its broad product range, engineering capabilities, and ability to supply specialized equipment for technically complex drilling, completions, production, and subsea markets.
