Rather than targeting a cancer type defined by its tissue of origin, the company pursues a tumour-agnostic strategy, meaning the therapy is intended to be relevant across multiple solid tumours where the same molecular alteration is present. Rezatapopt is designed to restore a more normal structure and function to the mutant p53 protein, with the aim of reactivating cancer-cell control mechanisms.
