The largest part of OSI Systems is its Security division, which supplies inspection and detection equipment used at airports, ports, border crossings, government facilities, and other sensitive locations. Its products include baggage and parcel scanners, cargo and vehicle inspection systems, metal detection equipment, and related software and service offerings. Demand in this segment is linked to global travel, trade flows, public safety budgets, and the need to screen people and goods efficiently.

The Healthcare segment provides patient monitoring, diagnostic cardiology, ventilation, anesthesia delivery, and defibrillation-related technologies. These products are used by hospitals and healthcare providers to support clinical monitoring and treatment. The business gives OSI exposure to medical device markets alongside its security-focused operations.

OSI’s Optoelectronics and Manufacturing segment produces specialized electronic components, assemblies, and manufacturing services. It supports the company’s own security and healthcare units while also serving external original equipment manufacturers. This vertical capability is an important part of OSI’s operating model, helping it control key technologies and serve customers that require custom electronic solutions.

Although the United States is a major market, OSI Systems also sells internationally across regions including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, and Mexico.
