The company is also developing VK2735, a dual GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonist candidate for obesity, a market that has become one of the most closely watched segments in biotechnology. Other programs include VK0214, another thyroid hormone receptor beta-selective compound aimed at X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy, and VK5211, a selective androgen receptor modulator investigated for muscle and bone-related indications.
