Arbutus Biopharma (ABUS)

Arbutus is building a pipeline intended to address different parts of the HBV disease process. Its lead internally developed candidate, imdusiran, also known as AB-729, is a GalNAc-conjugated RNA interference therapeutic delivered by subcutaneous injection. It is designed to reduce hepatitis B surface antigen, a viral protein associated with immune exhaustion and persistent infection. The company is also developing AB-101, a proprietary oral PD-L1 inhibitor, as part of an effort to restore immune responses against HBV.
