In addition to its operating businesses, Bio-Rad owns a substantial stake in Sartorius, a leading supplier of equipment and consumables for biologics manufacturing. The Class B shares reflect the same underlying business as Bio-Rad’s Class A shares, with differences primarily related to share class structure and voting rights.
