NextCure (NXTC)

NextCure’s pipeline includes NC410, a LAIR-2 fusion protein designed to disrupt immune-suppressive signals associated with collagen-rich tumour environments. The candidate is being studied in combination with pembrolizumab, with early clinical activity reported in areas including colorectal and ovarian cancers. The company is also advancing LNCB74, an antibody-drug conjugate directed at B7-H4, a cancer-associated target that is expressed in several tumour types and is viewed as clinically relevant for targeted oncology approaches.

Beyond these lead programmes, NextCure manages a broader portfolio that includes clinical assets such as NC525 and NC318, for which it is seeking partners. It also has earlier-stage programmes outside oncology, including NC605 for chronic bone diseases and NC181 for Alzheimer’s disease. As with many development-stage biopharmaceutical companies, its value is closely tied to clinical trial outcomes, regulatory progress, access to capital, and the ability to form collaborations that can support expensive late-stage development.
