Ouster, Inc. is a lidar technology company that develops sensors and software used to give machines high-resolution three-dimensional perception. Its products are designed for applications across automotive, industrial automation, robotics, mapping, security, and smart infrastructure. Lidar systems measure distance using light and are used to help vehicles, robots, and fixed infrastructure detect objects, understand surroundings, and operate more safely in complex environments.
The company’s portfolio includes digital scanning lidar sensors, solid-state digital lidar products, Velodyne-branded sensors, and software tools that support perception and data interpretation.
