Tether (USDT)
Tether (USDT) este cel mai mare și cel mai utilizat stablecoin ancorat la dolar de pe piața criptomonedelor. Este conceput să se tranzacționeze aproape de valoarea unui dolar american, oferindu-le traderilor, burselor și aplicațiilor blockchain un activ digital care se comportă mai mult ca numerarul decât ca o criptomonedă volatilă precum Bitcoin sau Ether. USDT este emis de Tether Limited și circulă pe mai multe blockchainuri, inclusiv Ethereum, Tron, Solana și altele, ceea ce îl face un activ comun pentru decontare și transfer în întreaga economie crypto.
Rolul principal al USDT este lichiditatea. Multe burse de criptomonede listează perechi de tranzacționare față de Tether, permițând utilizatorilor să intre și să iasă din active digitale fără să revină la sistemul bancar tradițional pentru fiecare tranzacție. De asemenea, este folosit pentru transferuri transfrontaliere, plăți, activități DeFi și ca depozit temporar de valoare în perioade de volatilitate a pieței. Deoarece există pe blockchainuri publice, USDT poate fi transferat între portofele și platforme compatibile, deși se pot aplica comisioane de rețea și taxe ale burselor.
Tether spune că tokenurile sale sunt susținute de rezerve care includ numerar, echivalente de numerar, bonuri de Trezorerie ale SUA și alte active. Compoziția și transparența acestor rezerve au fost frecvent supuse examinării, iar USDT a atras dezbateri de reglementare și de piață din cauza dimensiunii și importanței sale pentru tranzacționarea criptomonedelor. În ciuda acestei controverse, Tether rămâne o componentă de bază a infrastructurii pieței, funcționând ca un substitut digital al dolarului pentru utilizatorii care au nevoie de decontare rapidă bazată pe blockchain și de acceptare largă pe burse.
