VanEck Treasury Fund (VBILL)

The portfolio is primarily intended to hold cash, U.S. Treasury obligations, and repurchase agreements backed by U.S. Treasury securities or cash. These instruments are commonly used in conservative liquidity products because they are short dated and supported by the credit of the U.S. government in the case of Treasury obligations. The fund may also use pooled vehicles with similar mandates and can hold stablecoins or comparable yield-bearing digital assets for subscription, redemption, or operational purposes.

VBILL is part of a broader movement to bring real-world assets onto blockchain rails. Tokenisation can make fund ownership easier to transfer, settle, or integrate with digital-asset infrastructure, while the underlying investment strategy remains linked to conventional fixed income markets. For crypto-native investors, the product is positioned as a way to hold a tokenised cash-management instrument rather than leaving funds idle in non-yielding assets.

The fund’s objective is stability, but it is not the same as a bank deposit. It is not insured by the FDIC or any other government agency, and there is no guarantee that the token value will always remain at $1. Investors remain exposed to fund, market, liquidity, operational, and blockchain-related risks.
