Following that transaction, Array’s remaining asset base includes wireless towers, spectrum interests and minority stakes in certain wireless partnerships. The company operates a portfolio of roughly 4,400 towers, giving it an infrastructure platform that can generate leasing opportunities from mobile network operators seeking coverage and capacity. Tower assets are typically valued for their recurring tenant revenue potential and their role in supporting data demand, 5G deployment and network densification.

Array has also agreed to sell most of its remaining spectrum licences, while retaining rights to C-band spectrum in selected locations after those deals close. Spectrum remains a strategically important resource in mobile communications because it determines how operators deliver wireless capacity. In addition, the company owns a 5.5% interest in Verizon Wireless’ Los Angeles operations and smaller partnership interests in markets including Oklahoma and upstate New York.

The company’s strategic direction is also influenced by Telephone and Data Systems, its parent company, which has proposed acquiring the portion of Array it does not already own through an all-stock transaction. For investors, Array represents a post-carrier restructuring story tied to tower monetisation, partnership interests, spectrum value and the outcome of its ownership simplification process.
