Its model is centered on monetizing surface ownership and associated land-use rights. Revenue can be generated from surface damages, access agreements, pipeline and utility rights-of-way, easements, commercial water supply, produced water handling, recycling, and disposal, as well as other surface and subsurface-related arrangements tied to oilfield activity.

The Permian Basin gives the company exposure to a large and active energy market where operators require extensive infrastructure to move oil, gas, water, sand, power, and equipment. Surface access is often critical to drilling, completions, production, midstream development, and water management. As a result, landowners and land managers with strategically located acreage can play an important role in the functioning of the regional energy supply chain.

EagleRock Land’s assets also support activities beyond direct hydrocarbon production, including power generation, water systems, and other industrial uses. This provides a broader set of potential revenue streams while keeping the company closely linked to the level of development and infrastructure spending in the Permian Basin.
