ImmunityBio, Inc. is a clinical and commercial-stage biotechnology company developing immunotherapies that aim to help the body mount stronger and more durable responses against cancer and infectious disease. The company’s work centres on activating both arms of the immune system: adaptive T-cell responses and innate immune activity involving natural killer cells and related pathways.
Its lead platform is built around ANKTIVA, also known as nogapendekin alfa inbakicept, an IL-15 superagonist designed to stimulate immune cells that are important in tumour recognition and clearance. ANKTIVA is used as the foundation for ImmunityBio’s broader Cancer BioShield strategy, which combines cytokine biology with vaccines, cell therapies and other immunomodulating approaches.
