Janux Therapeutics (JANX)

Janux’s platform technology is built around tumor-activated biologics. Its TRACTr platform, short for Tumor Activated T Cell Engager, is designed to create T cell engagers that bind a tumor-associated antigen and CD3 on T cells. The goal is to direct the immune system toward cancer cells while limiting systemic immune activation outside the tumor. This is important because conventional T cell engagers can be powerful but may also cause toxicity if immune activity is not sufficiently controlled.

The company also develops Tumor Activated Immunomodulators through its TRACIr platform. These candidates combine tumor antigen binding with immune costimulatory mechanisms, such as CD28 engagement, to stimulate anti-tumor responses in a more localized manner. Janux’s broader Adaptive Immune Response Modulator, or ARM, platform adds another layer to its strategy by targeting ways to shape immune activity against cancer.
