Pasithea Therapeutics Corp. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing drug candidates for central nervous system disorders, RASopathies and selected cancers. The company’s work sits at the intersection of neuroscience, oncology, translational medicine and small-molecule drug development, with a focus on diseases where abnormal cell-signaling pathways contribute to serious unmet medical needs.
Its lead programme, PAS-004, is a macrocyclic small-molecule inhibitor of MEK1/2, a key component of the RAS/MAPK pathway. Pasithea is studying this approach for conditions linked to pathway dysregulation, including Neurofibromatosis Type 1, a genetic disorder that can cause tumour growth along nerves and other complications. The company’s broader pipeline also includes PAS-003, a monoclonal antibody programme, and PAS-001, a small-molecule programme.
Pasithea’s research interests extend across disorders such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis and schizophrenia, alongside oncology-related applications.
