The company was formed from Vornado Realty Trust’s shopping center business and retains a portfolio shaped around open-air shopping centers, retail destinations, and mixed-use opportunities in high-traffic urban and suburban locations.
The company’s assets are concentrated primarily in the New York metropolitan area and along the Washington, D.C. to Boston corridor, regions with large consumer bases, high barriers to entry, and established transportation networks. Its properties typically host necessity-based and convenience-oriented tenants, including grocers, pharmacies, fitness operators, restaurants, service providers, discount retailers, and larger anchor stores.
