Adani Enterprises (Buy)

Buy Adani Enterprises. The airport unit just raised ~₹98.25B at an ~$18B valuation with marquee investors (Temasek, BlackRock), which is a direct vote of confidence and should keep funding and deal momentum strong. The stock is also technically constructive (above 50-day MA, RSI ~58) and is pressing toward the YTD high (~₹3,245), setting up a clean breakout toward ~₹3,300.

Key Risk: A failed/slow airport expansion or regulatory setback that makes the new capital look like it won’t translate into earnings growth.

Adani Airport/Infrastructure rerating (Buy)

Buy Adani Enterprises as the play on a broader airport/infrastructure rerating. The news isn’t just fundraising—it’s positioning for city-side development, non-aeronautical revenue, and a potential IPO in 2028. That combination typically lifts the whole “airport platform” multiple, not only near-term cash flows.

Key Risk: Non-aeronautical/city-side plans underperform or face land/approval delays, so the market stops paying a premium for the platform story.

  • Adani Enterprises stock jumped after a major announcement in its airports unit.
  • The airports unit has raised $1 billion and is now valued at $18 billion.
  • The stock has formed a bullish flag pattern, pointing to more gains.

Adani Enterprises share price is soaring today, making it one of the best-performing company in the Nifty 50 Index. It jumped to ₹3,093, up by over 5% from yesterday’s close. It has soared by nearly 10% from its lowest level this month and is nearing the year-to-date high of ₹3,242.

Adani Enterprises stock jumps after a major airport deal

Adani Enterprises stock jumped after its airport unit made a major announcement. It announced a deal to raise about ₹98.25 billion ($1 billion) from a group of global and domestic investors. These investors include Alpha Wave Global, Premji invest, Temasek, and BlackRock and values it at about $18 billion.

Following this investment, the investors will own about 5.54% of the airport operator. This investment comes two months after Adani announced a ₹150 billion qualified institutional placement in July.

The investment comes at a time when Adani is positioning itself as one of the biggest players in the airport industry. It seeks to use the funds to invest in infrastructure, city-side developments, and non-aeronautical businesses.

Adani already operates some of the top airports in India, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Navi Mumbai International Airport, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, and Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. In total, the company handles close to 100 million passengers annually.

Its business accounts for 23% of the total passenger traffic, and the management expects to take it public in 2028.

Adani’s growth is continuing

The most recent results showed that Adani Enterprise’s business continued growing in the last quarter. Its total income jumped by 50% to Rs. 33,546 cr, with most of its business seeing strong momentum. The EBITDA jumped by 49% to ₹5.6 billion, with the profit-before-taxes hitting Rs1,295 cr. In a statement, Gautam Adani said:

“Adani Enterprises has begun FY27 with an exceptionally strong performance, delivering its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of Rs 5,642 crore, driven by the growing scale and maturity of our infrastructure and incubation platforms.”

Adani Enterprises has gone through a major turnaround in the past few months as it moved from some major developments. For example, it lost a major deal to develop and run an airport in Kenya and responded to accusations of Hindenburg Research.

At the same time, the Trump administration dropped the criminal fraud and bribery charges against Gautam Adani. Adani committed to invest $10 billion in the United States.

Adani stock chart | Source: TradingView

The daily chart shows that the Adani stock price dropped to ₹1,757 in March this year to a high of ₹3,245 in July. This rally stalled recently as it formed a descending channel. This channel was part of the bullish flag pattern, a common continuation sign.

The stock has remained above the 50-day moving average, while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has jumped to 58. Therefore, there is a likelihood that the initial bull run will continue. The initial target to watch will be the year-to-date high of 3,245. A move above that level will point to more gains towards ₹3,300.
