Clearpool (CPOOL)

Interest rates on Clearpool are designed to adjust according to market conditions, including supply, demand, and pool utilization. This gives liquidity providers a way to assess borrower-specific opportunities and earn yields that reflect perceived credit risk. In return for deposits, lenders receive cpTokens, which represent their position in a borrower pool. These tokens are intended to support a broader tokenized credit market, including potential risk management and secondary-market use cases.

CPOOL is the utility and governance token of the Clearpool ecosystem. It is used in borrower participation processes, including staking requirements linked to applications for whitelisting. Token holders can take part in governance decisions such as assessing new borrowers and, as the protocol decentralizes further, voting on changes to system parameters and upgrades. Liquidity providers may also receive CPOOL rewards that supplement pool interest.

Clearpool’s role is to bring elements of traditional private credit and capital markets onto blockchain rails.
