RedStone (RED)
RedStone is a blockchain oracle network that supplies external market data to decentralised finance applications. Oracles are a critical part of DeFi because lending markets, derivatives platforms, stablecoins, and yield products need reliable asset prices before they can value collateral, trigger liquidations, calculate rewards, or settle transactions. RedStone focuses especially on data feeds for newer and more complex assets used as collateral across on-chain markets.
The project is known for supporting yield-bearing assets such as liquid staking tokens, liquid restaking tokens, Bitcoin staking-related assets, and other DeFi instruments whose value can change through both market price and accrued yield. These assets are increasingly used in lending and structured finance protocols, but they require specialised oracle coverage because simple spot-price feeds may not fully capture their risk profile or redemption mechanics.
RedStone serves a wide range of DeFi clients, including protocols such as Spark, Morpho, Compound, Pendle, Venus, Lido, EtherFi, Ethena, Puffer, Balancer, Frax, and others. The project states that its oracle infrastructure secures more than $10 billion in value and supports dozens of integrations across the sector.
A distinctive feature of RedStone is its flexible oracle architecture. It can deliver data using different models depending on the needs of the application, helping protocols balance cost, speed, and security. By expanding price coverage beyond the most common crypto assets, RedStone plays an infrastructure role in the growth of collateralised DeFi, restaking markets, and on-chain yield products.
