StakeStone (STO)

The protocol’s product set includes liquid yield-bearing assets such as STONE, SBTC, and STONEBTC. STONE represents a liquid ETH product that seeks to capture staking-related yield while allowing holders to retain composability across DeFi. StakeStone uses an adaptive framework for selecting and updating underlying yield strategies, including an on-chain proposal process intended to keep allocations responsive to changing market conditions and ecosystem needs.

StakeStone also extends its model to Bitcoin liquidity. SBTC is positioned as a liquid index-style BTC asset intended to improve the utility of wrapped Bitcoin derivatives, while STONEBTC is a yield-bearing BTC product that aims to connect Bitcoin exposure with earning strategies across DeFi, CeDeFi, and real-world-asset-linked opportunities. The goal is to make BTC more productive without limiting its use as liquidity in other applications.

Another major component is LiquidityPad, an omnichain liquidity platform for protocols and blockchain ecosystems seeking tailored liquidity bootstrapping. By drawing on Ethereum’s liquidity base and StakeStone’s yield infrastructure, LiquidityPad is designed to route capital toward emerging networks and applications while offering liquidity providers structured earning opportunities.

StakeStone’s role is therefore broader than a single staking product. It positions itself as liquidity middleware for a multichain market, connecting yield generation, asset portability, and ecosystem-level liquidity acquisition.
