WAX (WAXP)

The WAX blockchain uses delegated proof-of-stake, a consensus model in which token holders help select block producers that validate transactions and maintain the network. It is based on technology compatible with the EOSIO software framework, giving it fast block production and an account/resource model suited to interactive applications. WAXP is the network’s native token and is used for staking, governance participation, and access to network resources.
