FTAI Infrastructure (FIP)

Its Railroad segment includes a collection of freight railroads and a switching company that provide rail service to manufacturing and production facilities. These assets are tied to industrial supply chains, where reliable rail access is important for moving raw materials, intermediate goods, and finished products. The Jefferson Terminal segment operates a multi-modal terminal serving crude oil, refined products, and related logistics needs, connecting water, rail, and other transportation modes.

FTAI Infrastructure also owns Repauno, a deep-water port on the Delaware River. Repauno includes an underground storage cavern, a multipurpose dock, a rail-to-ship transloading system, and land that can support additional industrial development. Its Power and Gas segment includes Long Ridge, a multi-modal terminal along the Ohio River with energy and logistics characteristics. The Sustainability and Energy Transition segment includes businesses such as Aleon/Gladieux, Clean Planet, and CarbonFree, reflecting exposure to recycling, low-carbon, or emissions-reduction opportunities.

The company’s appeal rests on the strategic location and specialized nature of its assets. Many of its facilities sit at points where rail, water, energy infrastructure, and industrial customers intersect. Its performance depends on utilization, customer demand, commodity and industrial activity, capital spending needs, and the ability to develop underused infrastructure into higher-value operations.
