Across Protocol (ACX)

The protocol is built around an optimistic design secured by UMA’s optimistic oracle. This approach is intended to deliver fast bridging for ordinary users while still relying on an economic security layer to protect the system.

Its relayer marketplace encourages independent actors to compete on execution, helping users receive funds on the destination chain without waiting for slower canonical bridge settlement. The protocol’s no-slippage fee model is a key part of its user experience, as quoted fees are intended to be transparent rather than changing according to pool imbalance.

ACX is the native governance token of Across Protocol. It is used in the protocol’s decentralized governance process, giving holders a role in decisions related to upgrades, parameters, incentives, and ecosystem development.
