Lido Earn ETH (EARNETH)

The product allocates deposited capital across a range of recognised DeFi venues, including lending, fixed-yield, leverage and institutional credit markets such as Aave, Morpho, Pendle, Gearbox and Maple. Instead of depending on one manager or a single source of yield, EarnETH aggregates strategy providers and adjusts allocations as market conditions change. Rewards are intended to accrue daily and are automatically compounded, which helps simplify position management for depositors.

EarnETH supports deposits in ETH, WETH and stETH or wstETH, as well as existing Lido Earn tokens such as GG, DVstETH and strETH. In return, users receive earnETH, a tokenised representation of their position in the vault. This makes the product a bridge between Lido’s liquid staking ecosystem and broader “blue-chip” DeFi infrastructure.

The asset’s role is therefore less like a standalone cryptocurrency for payments and more like a structured onchain yield receipt. Its value proposition centres on convenience, diversified DeFi access and capital efficiency for ETH holders. As with any DeFi strategy, returns depend on market conditions and protocol risk, but EarnETH aims to package a complex set of opportunities into a single, easier-to-use product.
