XYO Network (XYO)

The network has been developed as a bridge between real-world devices and blockchain-based systems, while also serving companies and applications outside Web3. Its ecosystem includes the XYO token, which is externally traded and used in areas such as rewards, staking, governance, and broader DePIN participation. XYO is also associated with the COIN app, a consumer-facing application created to encourage data collection and network growth.

XYO has expanded beyond its original data network with the launch of the XYO Layer One blockchain, a chain intended to support data-heavy use cases across DePIN, real-world assets, and AI. The project uses a dual-token structure: XYO functions as the public ecosystem token, while XL1 is designed for activity inside the Layer One network, including transaction and gas functions. The wider organisation also includes XY Labs, a US-based company linked to the project, which has pursued regulated fundraising and tokenised equity initiatives. This gives XYO a distinctive position at the intersection of DePIN, verified data, and real-world asset tokenisation.
