CR-001 is described by the company as a new molecular entity intended to reproduce the functional characteristics of ivonescimab, a cooperative anti-PD-1/anti-VEGF bispecific antibody being developed by Akeso Biopharma and Summit Therapeutics. Crescent is also working on CR-002 and CR-003, which are antibody-drug conjugate programmes directed at validated oncology targets.
The company operates in a highly competitive and scientifically complex segment of biotechnology. Its prospects depend on demonstrating safety, efficacy, manufacturability, and differentiation versus established cancer drugs such as immune checkpoint inhibitors and newer bispecific or ADC candidates.
