MetaMUI (MMUI)

The project positions its network as infrastructure for central bank digital currencies, sovereign digital currencies, tokenised assets and machine-to-machine payments. By binding transactions to verifiable digital identities, MetaMUI seeks to address issues that limit wider institutional use of public blockchain-style systems, including lost-key risk, compliance controls, identity verification and the need for accountable participants in financial workflows. Its architecture also emphasises upgradeability, including the ability to move toward post-quantum cryptography without requiring users and organisations to abandon existing identities.

MMUI is the native crypto asset associated with the MetaMUI ecosystem. It supports activity on the network and is tied to a platform that targets use cases where trust, legal recognition and identity assurance are central requirements. The project has highlighted work on sovereign digital currency systems, including deployments for Indigenous nations, and participation in initiatives connected to next-generation payment technology.

MetaMUI’s distinctive proposition is that blockchains used for payments and AI-driven commerce may need more than anonymous addresses and private keys. It presents identity as a core protocol feature, enabling verified humans, organisations and AI agents to transact within systems that can meet regulatory and operational expectations.
