Fluence Energy, Inc. is a global provider of grid-scale energy storage products, digital optimisation software, and related services for utilities, power producers, developers, and commercial energy customers. The company operates at the centre of the electricity transition, where rising renewable generation increases the need for flexible storage systems that can balance supply and demand, improve grid reliability, and support more efficient use of solar and wind assets.
Fluence offers integrated battery energy storage solutions that combine hardware, controls, engineering, and project execution capabilities. Its systems are used for applications such as renewable energy shifting, peak capacity, frequency regulation, congestion management, and resilience. Alongside project delivery, the company provides operational services and maintenance plans that can include monitoring, training, warranties, performance support, and active system management over the life of a storage asset.
The company also sells software-as-a-service products designed to optimise the bidding, dispatch, and operation of storage and renewable portfolios in power markets. These digital tools are intended to help asset owners improve performance and manage risk as electricity markets become more complex and intermittent generation grows.
Fluence serves customers across the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with the Americas representing its largest revenue base. As a listed clean energy infrastructure stock, Fluence is influenced by utility investment cycles, battery supply chains, project timing, policy support, and the economics of renewable power. Its distinctive position lies in combining large-scale storage technology, recurring services, and market optimisation software for modern power systems.
