Crypto.com partners with LeBron in child education initiative

NBA star LeBron James and Crypto.com (CRO/USD) have entered a partnership to help 1,600 children in Akron learn how cryptocurrency works, the technology behind it, and how it can impact their personal and professional lives moving forward, Beacon Journal reported.

James commented through a spokesperson:

Crypto.com experts will teach crypto tech

Experts provided by Crypto.com will teach students in the I Promise program about the technology and related career fields in virtual and in-person settings. The program aims to keep academically at-risk students in the classroom.

As part of the LeBron Foundation’s holistic approach, the children and their families will be offered partnership and training opportunities. The foundation focuses efforts to support families in Akron, where James grew up.

James added:

Founded in 2016, Crypto.com quickly gathered momentum. At present, the exchange has 10 million active users. Around a month ago, they took naming rights of the arena in Los Angeles, where James now plays for the Lakers.
