SELLAS entwickelt zudem GFH009, einen selektiven niedermolekularen Inhibitor der cyclinabhängigen Kinase 9 beziehungsweise CDK9. CDK9 ist an der Transkriptionsregulation und an Überlebenssignalwegen von Krebszellen beteiligt, und die Hemmung dieses Ziels wird als Möglichkeit untersucht, Wachstumssignale in bestimmten Tumoren zu unterbrechen. Das Unternehmen positioniert GFH009 als zielgerichteten Onkologie-Kandidaten mit potenzieller Relevanz sowohl bei Blutkrebserkrankungen als auch bei soliden Tumoren.
