Core (CORE)
Core ist eine EVM-kompatible Blockchain, die darauf ausgelegt ist, Bitcoin-orientierte Sicherheit in eine programmierbare Smart-Contract-Umgebung zu bringen. Die zentrale Idee ist Satoshi Plus, ein Konsensmodell, das delegierte Beteiligung am Bitcoin-Proof-of-Work mit einer validatorbasierten Auswahl nach Art von Delegated Proof of Stake kombiniert. Indem die Wahl der Validatoren sowohl mit der Hashrate des Bitcoin-Minings als auch mit gestakten CORE-Token verknüpft wird, will das Netzwerk Sicherheit, Dezentralisierung und Durchsatz in Einklang bringen, ohne dass Entwickler den vertrauten Ethereum-Tooling-Stack verlassen müssen.
Da Core die Ethereum Virtual Machine unterstützt, können für Ethereum entwickelte Anwendungen für den Einsatz im Netzwerk angepasst werden, darunter dezentrale Börsen, Lending-Protokolle, Wallets, NFT-Plattformen und andere Smart-Contract-Dienste. Damit ist Core Teil der breiteren Multichain-DeFi-Landschaft, besitzt jedoch zugleich eine eigenständige Identität rund um das Bitcoin-Mining-Ökosystem und die Idee von „BTCfi“, also Finanzanwendungen, die auf Bitcoin-bezogenen Vermögenswerten und Infrastruktur aufbauen.
Der CORE-Token wird innerhalb des Netzwerks für Transaktionsgebühren, Staking, Validator-Anreize und Governance-bezogene Aktivitäten verwendet. Nutzer und Entwickler interagieren mit Core ähnlich wie mit anderen EVM-Chains, doch die Positionierung des Projekts unterscheidet sich von einer gewöhnlichen Ethereum-Alternative: Es will die ökonomische und sicherheitsbezogene Reichweite von Bitcoin in eine Turing-vollständige Umgebung erweitern. Für Investoren und Marktbeobachter lässt sich Core daher am besten als Blockchain-Projekt verstehen, das versucht, zwei große Krypto-Designphilosophien zu verbinden: das Proof-of-Work-Fundament von Bitcoin und die flexible Smart-Contract-Architektur von Ethereum.
