Most top cryptocurrencies are trading in the green today, which is always a welcome sign for upcoming ICOs such as Canadian startup Exhasta.

The blockchain-based technology behind this company seeks to proliferate the development of moonshot ideas, having received inspiration from Elon Musk’s Hyper Loop technology whose concept was distributed to the world for free. The Exhasta ICO pre-sale is under way now and the public sale of the EXH token begins on Oct. 27.

Exhasta’s Canadian headquarters thrusts the status of the country’s upcoming ICO regulation into the spotlight. Canadian messaging app Kix is the famous deal that blocked locals from participating in its recent ICO amid obscurity tied to the designation of digital tokens as securities.

Meanwhile the Ontario Securities Commission recently expressed it support for innovation for upcoming ICOs, saying that it remains “flexible” in its approach.

For its part, Exhasta is trying to solve the problem of moonshot ideas being developed by top tech plays ranging from Google to Facebook never seeing the light of day. Too often, these innovations never make it to the consumer level mostly because of the costs tied to scaling these ideas when budgets are typically prioritized toward the highest revenue generating areas.

According to Exhasta, the blockchain can be leveraged to fund moonshot ideas that are eventually delivered to the world. A couple of ideas that are on the forefront at Exhasta are artificial intelligence driven public transit and high transparency social banks.

Exhasta ICO Fundraising Goals

Exhasta is offering a 30% discount on the EXH tokens during the pre-sale, which is the top discount the startup is offering. Their ICO pre-sale fundraising target is USD 350,000.

There are a series of fundraising targets for the crowdsale, including USD 5.3 million to create two moonshot projects over two years, USD 13.4 million to create a trio of moonshots over as many years, and the maximum of USD 25 million to develop four moonshot ideas over for years, and similar to the Hyper Loop hopefully deliver the IP to the world.

The Exhasta ICO addresses refunds in its white paper, alerting investors that refunds will not be granted in a series of instances including scams and in the instance funds are sent to the incorrect wallet address during the token sale.
