Each xStock is intended to be backed on a one-to-one basis by the corresponding underlying security or equivalent regulated holdings, giving the token holder an economic claim linked to the value of the stock. In the case of NVDAX, the reference asset is NVIDIA, the US-listed semiconductor company known for graphics processors, artificial intelligence accelerators, data-center chips, and software platforms used across gaming, cloud computing, AI infrastructure, automotive systems, and professional visualization.

The token format makes NVDAX transferable like other digital assets and potentially composable with DeFi protocols, depending on exchange support, network availability, and local rules. This can reduce some of the practical barriers associated with traditional cross-border brokerage access, such as market opening hours, account eligibility, and settlement infrastructure.

NVDAX is not the same experience as holding NVIDIA shares directly through a conventional broker. Token holders rely on the issuer, custodians, and applicable legal framework that governs the backing assets and redemption or claim mechanics. It may not carry shareholder rights such as voting, and availability is typically restricted in jurisdictions including the United States. Its role is to provide blockchain-based access to NVIDIA-linked economic exposure rather than to function as a native cryptocurrency network.
