Ares Commercial Real Estate Corporation is a commercial mortgage real estate investment trust focused on financing income-producing property across the United States and, selectively, other markets. The company, often referred to by its ticker ACRE, originates and holds loans secured by commercial real estate, with a strategy centred on senior mortgage loans and other debt investments tied to office, multifamily, industrial, retail, hotel and mixed-use assets.
ACRE’s business model is built around earning interest income from its loan portfolio.
