Flutter Entertainment plc is a global sports betting and online gaming company with a portfolio of major consumer brands across regulated markets. The business traces its modern form to the 2016 merger of Paddy Power and Betfair, which combined a well-known retail and online bookmaker with a betting exchange and digital wagering platform. Since then, Flutter has expanded into one of the largest operators in global online gambling.
The company’s leading brands include FanDuel in the United States, Sky Betting & Gaming and Paddy Power in the UK and Ireland, Sportsbet in Australia, and Sisal in Italy. These brands give Flutter strong positions in several of the world’s most competitive betting markets, with products covering online sportsbook, iGaming, fantasy sports, racing, and related entertainment formats. As of December 31, 2025, Flutter offered products in more than 100 countries and had an average of 15.9 million monthly users.
Flutter’s revenue mix reflects the scale of its sportsbook and gaming operations. In 2025, sports betting accounted for 53% of revenue, online gaming contributed 44%, and fantasy sports, horse racing, and other activities made up the remaining 3%. The company also launched a predictive sports betting platform in late 2025, adding to its technology-led product development.
Flutter is distinctive for combining local betting brands with shared technology, risk management, data analytics, and product expertise. Its performance depends on customer acquisition, regulatory conditions, sports results, responsible gambling requirements, and the continued shift from retail betting to digital channels. For investors, FLUT represents a broad, international play on regulated online wagering and gaming.
