PHINIA (PHIN)
NYSE Market Closed
PHINIA Inc. is a mobility technology company focused on fuel systems, electrical components, and aftermarket products for combustion and hybrid propulsion. The company operates in markets where engines continue to play an important role, including commercial vehicles, light vehicles, off-highway equipment, and industrial applications. PHINIA became an independent public company after its separation from BorgWarner, giving it a more focused strategy around advanced fuel delivery, emissions reduction, and service parts.
The company designs and manufactures systems that help engines run more efficiently, meet emissions standards, and support a wider range of fuels. Its portfolio includes diesel fuel injection systems, fuel delivery modules, alternative fuel systems, evaporative canisters, electrical systems, hydrogen-related technologies, software, and associated components. These products are used by original equipment manufacturers as they improve conventional powertrains and develop hybrid or lower-carbon propulsion solutions.
PHINIA reports through two main segments. The Fuel Systems business is the larger revenue contributor and supplies integrated technologies for commercial, industrial, and passenger vehicle applications. The Aftermarket business provides replacement parts, service solutions, and related products for vehicles already in operation. This aftermarket exposure is important because global vehicle fleets remain large and diverse, and many regions continue to rely heavily on internal combustion engines.
Geographically, PHINIA generates its largest share of revenue in the United States, while also serving customers in the United Kingdom, China, Poland, Romania, Brazil, and other markets. The company is distinctive for its focus on making combustion and hybrid systems cleaner and more efficient during a long transition period in global transportation.
