SKYX Platforms Corp. develops and commercialises technologies intended to make the installation of ceiling- and wall-mounted electrical products faster, safer, and more standardised. The company’s core platform is built around a weight-bearing electrical socket and a matching plug that can mechanically support fixtures while also transferring power. This design is aimed at products such as light fixtures, ceiling fans, chandeliers, and other appliances that traditionally require hardwiring by an installer.
The company’s technology uses nonconductive socket and plug bodies that contain conductive rings connected to an electrical supply. The plug locks into the socket through a post-style connection and is designed to allow a fixture to be attached, powered, removed, or replaced with less direct handling of wiring.
