SELLAS Life Sciences (SLS)

Its lead candidate, galinpepimut-S, commonly known as GPS, is a peptide-based immunotherapy directed at Wilms tumor 1, or WT1. WT1 is an antigen expressed in a range of haematologic cancers and solid tumours, making it a potential target for immune-based treatment strategies. GPS is designed to stimulate an immune response against WT1-expressing cancer cells and has been studied across multiple indications, including acute myeloid leukaemia and other cancer settings.

SELLAS is also developing GFH009, a selective small-molecule inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinase 9, or CDK9. CDK9 is involved in transcriptional regulation and cancer cell survival pathways, and inhibition of this target is being explored as a way to disrupt growth signals in certain tumours. The company positions GFH009 as a targeted oncology candidate with potential relevance in both blood cancers and solid tumours.

Its value is closely tied to clinical trial progress, regulatory outcomes, intellectual property, financing capacity, and the competitive landscape for oncology drug development.
